Short CV:

Panagiotis Sotiropoulos is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics of the University of Patras, Greece. He received his diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the same department in 2007. In 2008, he enrolled at a PhD program on the Robotics Group of the department with a thesis on “Optimum docking and motion planning of Unmanned Underwater Vehicles for dexterous manipulations”. He has published papers on International conferences and Journals, on the subjects of optimal docking of UUVs for effective interventions, the use of neural networks for dexterous manipulations and fast motion planning for AUV interventions.
